Kochi: On Monday i.e.on March 29, 2010,Ramachandran Thekkedath, Vice-Chancellor of Cochin University of Science and Technology, will inaugurate a website of the University Grants Commission (UGC) cell for the Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs).
The announcement regarding the launch of the website was made during an official press release. It was also mentioned that the website is expected to provide a fair idea of the functioning of the UGC cell, standing committee for the welfare of SCs and STs, equal opportunity cell, remedial coaching, employment information and guidance bureau in the university.
Moreover, Godfrey Louiz, Pro Vice-Chancellor, will preside over the meeting, which is likely to be held at the Department of Electronics auditorium.
