National Institute Of Homoeopathy (NIH) in Kolkata, West Bengal, has announced the date of BHMS entrance test 2010. It is an entrance test conducted for admission into 5½ years of BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery) programme, offered in the upcoming academic session 2010.

June 6, 2010 (Sunday) (Admission is done on the basis of candidates performance in the entrance test, followed by a counselling, which is scheduled to be held on July 12 & 13, 2010)

How to Apply
Applications are invited on three A4 size paper (two pages for the application proforma and one page for the identification card) according to format from intending candidates. Interested candidates can download the application form and information brochure from the website: http://nih.nic.in/. Thereafter, the duly filled in application application (in candidate’s own handwriting) is to be sent along with Bank draft for Rs 500 drawn in favour of Director, National Institute of Homoeopathy, payable at Kolkata (IPO/Cheque/Cash/Money order will not be accepted), on or before the last date mentioned.
 
No Bank draft is required in case of SC/ST candidates but a copy of caste certificate attested by a Gazetted Officer should accompany the application. Also enclose 04 (four) identical copies of recent (taken after 31st March, 2010 with a placard showing candidate’s name and date of photo / the photographs should be taken without spectacles and cap/hat) passport size (3.5 cm X 4.5 cm) colour photographs. [02 (two) copies are to be pasted on the specified area on the application, which should be attested by a Gazetted Officer after pasting with part of signature on the photograph and part of signature on the application form, other 02 (two) unpasted should be signed on the reverse by candidate].
