VIT University, located in Vellore (Tamil Nadu), has invited applications for VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2011. The entrance test is conducted for offering admission to students into various branches of engineering at the undergraduate level i.e. Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech). The score of the entrance test is accepted by various engineering institutes/colleges, which are affiliated to VIT University. Any student, who has passed 10+2 level of examination with science stream, can apply for VITEEE 2011.

How to Apply
The candidates can obtain the application form by visiting the official website of the University i.e. www.vit.ac.in. Application forms are also available in the designated branches of Post Offices on cash payment of Rs 750. The candidates have to submit the completed application form by sending a DD of Rs 750 drawn in favor of ‘VIT University’, at Vellore, to the Admission Officer with a request letter containing the full address of the candidate. Candidates can also submit the application form in person by following the same procedure at VIT University Vellore or VIT Chennai Campus or Chennai City Office.
