All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, has announced the date of first ever Common Admission Test 2012, also referred to as AICTE - CMAT 2012. It is a national level entrance test conducted in order to select eligible candidates for admission into PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) courses, offered at all AICTE approved institutes. Candidates willing to appear for CMAT 2012 can take the computer based test on the scheduled dates mentioned below.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can register only online by visiting the AICTE’s official website: http://aicte-cmat.in/. Candidates can make the payment of Rs 1200 with requisite charges (Rs 600 with Bank Charges for SC/ST candidates) either online by Credit Card or Debit Card or Net banking (details available on the website). After receiving a confirmation e-mail and SMS after online submission of payment, one can proceed for further steps of online registration (as available on the website).
 
Candidates applying online can also choose the option of cash payment. After getting print out of the Challan Copy (available on the website), one can pay the requisite fee of Rs 1200 + bank charges (Rs 600 + Bank charges for SC/ST candidates) at designated branches of State Bank of India. Thereafter, one must collect a copy of Challan and Journal number, generated by the bank. Those applying through cash payment should wait for 72 hours after getting the payment done at designated bank to proceed further. One can proceed only after receiving the confirmation e-mail and SMS. After receiving the e-mail and SMS, candidates can read the instructions carefully, available on the website and apply accordingly.
