Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) in Mesra, Ranchi (Jharkhand), has invited applications for admission into the following full time post graduate (PG) programmes, offered in the ensuing session 2011.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can download the application form from the institute’s official website: http://www.bitmesra.ac.in/. The application fee is Rs 1500 which is to be paid in the form of crossed DD. The crossed DD should be drawn in the favour of Birla Institute of Technology, payable at Ranchi. There are some requisite enclosures which are needed to be attached with the application in order to complete it (the list of enclosure is given on the abovementioned website).
 
The duly filled application form along with the crossed DD, photograph and requisite enclosures must be sent in an A4 size envelope super scribing “Application for PG 2011” on its top. The envelope should be sent to “Office of Dean Admissions, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi – 835215” latest by May 27, 2011. The application should be sent through Speedpost/ Registered Post/ Reliable courier service only. For more information about application, eligibility criteria and admission procedures, candidates are requested to visit the aforementioned official website of the institute.
 
Note: 1. Candidates are advised to visit institute’s website regularly as all the updates will be posted there only.
 
2. Candidates may use one application form to apply for ONLY one programme – M E or M Pharm or M. Tech or MUP or M Sc, etc, and ONLY one discipline within that programme – for example only M E in Mechanical or only M. Tech in Computer Science or only M Sc in Bioinformatics. However, one application form can be used to apply for various specializations within some M E programmes and within the M Pharm programme, and in the case of M Sc programme in Bioinformatics, you may also use one application form to apply for different Places for Study, in order of preference.
