University of Burdwan, also known as Burdwan University, West Bengal, has issued notification for admission into the following PG (Post Graduate) programmes, offered in the upcoming academic session 2011-13. The courses are to be conducted at B.U. Campus (both normal shift and additional shift), Burdwan Raj College, M.U.C. Women’s College, Hooghly Mohsin College, Bankura Christian College, Chandernagore Govt. College, Netaji Mahavidayalaya, Pandit Raghunath Murmu Smriti Mahavidayalaya.
 
Courses offered in the following subjects:
Bengali, Sanskrit, History, Economics, Hindi, Sociology, Philosophy, Santali, English, and Political Science

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the prescribed application form from the Sales Counter at Rajbati, (and not by post) on payment of Rs 100 in cash, between 11 am to 2 pm on all working days (except Saturdays, Sundays and University Holidays). One can also download the application form from the University’s official website: http://www.buruniv.ac.in/. However, the downloaded application should be submitted along with the Rs 100 drawn in favour of “Finance Officer, The University of Burdwan” payable at SBI, Burdwan. The duly filled in application form along with the DD (in the case of downloaded application form) should be submitted latest by August 12, 2011. For more details regarding admission, eligibility criteria and application procedures candidates are requested to visit the University’s aforementioned official website.
