CBSE AIEEE 2012 Notification

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi, has invited applications from eligible candidates to register for All India Engineering Entrance Examination 2012, also known as AIEEE.
 
Date of Exam
Examination of BE/B Tech will be held online only from May 7, 2012 to May 26, 2012 and of B Arch / B Planning offline on April 29, 2012 (from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm).

How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to apply online by logging into the website: http://aieee.nic.in/. The application is to be submitted through online mode only. The examination fee is as follows:

For BE/B Tech only or B Arch/ B Planning Only
  • Fee for Offline Examination - Rs 800 (for General and OBC candidates) and Rs 400 (for SC/ST and PWD candidates)
  • Fee for Online Examination - Rs 500 (for General and OBC candidates) and Rs 250 (for SC/ST and PWD Candidates)
For both BE/B Tech and B Arch/B Planning
  • Fee for Offline Examination - Rs 1400 (for General and OBC candidates) and Rs 700 (for SC/ST and PWD candidates)
  • Fee for Online Examination- Rs 1100 (for General and OBC candidates) and Rs 550 (for SC/ST and PWD candidates)
For examination centre opted in foreign country (Offline Examination)
  • For BE/B Tech only or B Arch / B Planning only - Rs 2000 (for General and OBC Candidates) and Rs 1000 (for SC/ST and PWD candidates)
  • For both BE/B Tech and B Arch/ B Planning - Rs 3000 (for General and OBC Candidates) and Rs 1500 (for SC/ST and PWD candidates)
The examination fee can be paid through DD or using Debit/Credit card (further exam fee payment details are given on the website). After submitting the online application form, one must take the print out of the system generated confirmation page bearing a unique registration number. Candidates are required paste photographs, put left hand thumb impression, sign in the space earmarked for the purpose, and write down the Residential Address on this confirmation page. The duly signed confirmation page, along with requisite enclosures (if the fee is being paid through Bank Draft), should be sent through Registered/Speed Post to CBSE (Not By Courier) to “The Joint Secretary (AIEEE Unit), Central Board of Secondary Education, PS 1-2, Institutional Area, IP Extension, Patparganj, Delhi - 110 092” latest by January 5, 2012.
