Sonepat: The first convocation of Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology, Murthal, Sonepat, is scheduled to be held on November 24, 2011 at the University premises. Shri Vilasrao Deshmukh, Hon’ble Union Minister of Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, Government of India, will grace the ceremony as Chief Guest and deliver the Convocation Address. In addition, Shri Jagannath Pahadia, His Excellency, Hon’ble Governor of Haryana and Chancellor of the University, has given his consent to preside over the Ceremony.
The ceremony is being held to award degrees to students who have completed their B Tech / M Tech / MBA / MA / M Sc / M Arch courses, from Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology, Murthal, Sonepat (Haryana), on or before October 31, 2011. Students, possessing the mentioned eligibility and willing to take part in the convocation, are required to download the prescribed registration form from the University’s official website: http://www.dcrustm.ac.in/ or collect the form from the Examination Branch.
The duly filled in and completed form should be submitted to the Assistant Registrar (Results), along with a fee of Rs 500 (paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of Registrar, DCRUST, Murthal payable at Sonepat), latest by November 15, 2011. Students are requested to attend the rehearsal on November 23, 2011 at 14.00 hours. One must note that the registered candidates who attend the rehearsal programme will only be allowed to receive degrees at the convocation.
