New Delhi: The first semester exams for 13 Undergraduate (UG) Science courses of University of Delhi, popularly known as Delhi University (DU), will commence from today i.e. January 4, 2011. As per sources, the exams will go on till January 13, 2011. On Monday i.e. January 3, 2011, students of DU said that all their fear about semester system has gone away.
Students of DU told the sources that with the new schedule, they have got enough time to prepare for the examinations. In addition, Students also told that the teachers managed to finish the course just in time. As per sources, earlier, the exams were scheduled to be held from November 20, 2010, which was later postponed to December 6, 2010, due to the opposition from the Delhi University Teachers Association (DUTA).
