ICAR 17th AIEEA UG & PG Exam 2012

Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi, has invited applications for 17th All India Entrance Examinations for Admission, popularly known as AIEEA. AIEEA is being conducted on the below mentioned date to select candidates for admission into the following undergraduate (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) programmes in Agriculture and Allied Science subjects, to be offered in the upcoming session 2012-13. Final selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in AIEEA, followed by counseling / personal appearance, to be conducted by ICAR.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can download the application form and information bulletin (for both UG & PG courses) from the official website of the Council http://www.icar.org.in/. The same for can be obtained from the Sale Counters of Agricultural Universities in India and various designated branches of Syndicate Bank (details available on the website) on cash payment of Rs 500 / Rs 600 for UG / PG (Rs 250 / Rs 300 for UG / PG courses SC/ST/PH candidates), along with Rs 25 as handling charges of Information Bulletin and requisite service tax.
 
The information bulletin with application form can also be obtained in person from the sale counter of ICAR Exam Cell, Education Division, Room No. 216, KAB-II, Pusa, New Delhi; NDRI, Karnal; NAARM, Hyderabad; CARI, Port Blair; CIFE, Mumbai; IVRI, Izatnagar; ICAR, Research Complex for NEH Region, Umiam, Meghalaya and ICAR Research Complex for Goa, Ela, Old Goa, through a Bank Draft of Rs 500 / Rs 600 for UG / PG (Rs 250 / Rs 300 for UG / PG courses SC/ST/PH candidates). The DD should be drawn on any scheduled bank in favor of “ICAR Unit - Education Division, ICAR, New Delhi” payable at New Delhi.
 
One can also obtain the same through post by sending a request letter to “The Assistant Director General (HRD) / Controller of Examinations (Education), Room No. 216, ICAR, Krishi Anusandhan Bhavan-II, Pusa, New Delhi -110 012”, along with an unstamped self-addressed 30 x 25 cm envelop and a Demand Draft of Rs 550 / Rs 650 for UG / PG courses (Rs 300 / Rs 350 for UG / PG courses for SC/ST/PH candidates) including postal and handling charges drawn any scheduled bank.
 
The completed application form along with DD and other necessary enclosures (details available on the website) should be submitted to The Assistant Director General (HRD) / Controller of Examinations (Education), Education Division, ICAR, Krishi Anusandhan Bhavan-II, Pusa, New Delhi -110 012, on or before the last date of form submission. Candidates also can register their candidature online (for both UG and PG courses) by visiting the abovementioned official website of ICAR or logging onto the direct link: http://icarexam.net/. For further details regarding admission, eligibility criteria and application procedure, one can visit the abovementioned website of ICAR.
