New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University is organizing the Inter-Faculty Tournaments for the academic session 2010-11, from January 27, 2011. These Inter-Faculty Tournaments will be held for Volleyball (Men), Basketball (Men and Women) and Badminton (Men).
According to the press release issued by the University, the Inter-Faculty Tournaments opened on January 27, 2011 with the first match of Volleyball (Men) played in the Volleyball Court of the old SRK Hostel Ground. The final match of Inter-Faculty Volleyball Tournament will be played on January 29, 2011.
Moreover, the Inter-Faculty Basketball Tournament (Men & Women) would be held from January 31 to February 4 in the University Sports Complex, Jamia Millia Islamia. Also, the Inter-Faculty Badminton Tournament Badminton (Men) is scheduled to be held between February 3 and February 5 in the Multi Purpose Hall, Jamia Sr. Secondary School, Jamia Millia Islamia. There are mainly 14 faculties under which the students would be participating in the tournament.
