Jiwaji University, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, invites applications from candidates belonging to SC / ST category for admission into various disciplines of PhD course, offered in the session 2011-12.
The University invites applications for the award of University Research scholarship for 2010-11 (only for ST/SC candidates) & for 2011-12 (for all categories) in the subjects of Science, Life science, social science, Arts, Commerce, Management Law, Education, Physical Education and Home science faculties so as to reach the university on or before September 1, 2011 on the prescribed format.
Interested candidates can get the application form from the University development section against a cash payment of Rs 100 in person. The same can also be obtained by post by sending a bank draft of Rs 150 payable to Registrar, Jiwaji University, Gwalior. One can also download the application form from the University’s official website: www.jiwaji.edu. The downloaded application from must be submitted along with a DD of Rs 150 drawn in favor of the Registrar Jiwaji university Gwalior.
Besides, the University has notified that scholarship will be awarded only to those who have first class Master degree (55% for SC/ST Candidates) and have registered for PhD in this University. The candidates who have re-registered for PhD are not eligible for these scholarships.
