JVB University PhD Programme 2011 Admission

Jain Vishva Bharati (JVB) University, Ladnun, Rajasthan, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into PhD programme in the following teaching departments, to be offered in the ensuing session 2011. The admission will be made on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the Research Eligibility Test (RET), followed by personal interview, to be conducted by the University.
 
Departments in which the PhD programme is offered:
  • Jainology and Comparative Religion & Philosophy
  • Sanskrit and Prakrit
  • Science of Living, Preksha Meditation and Yoga
  • Nonviolence and Peace
  • Social Work
  • Education
  • English
Date of exam
Research Eligibility Test (RET) will be conducted on November 2, 2011.
Personal interview will be conducted on November 15-16, 2011 at JVB University, Ladnun.
 
Note: Candidates who have qualified UGC JRF/NET/SLET or passed M Phil (under UGC Regulation, 2009) are exempted from appearing in the RET. However, these candidates are required to submit the application form for processing and consideration.

Interested candidates can download the prescribed application form from the University’s official website: http://www.jvbi.ac.in/. The application fee is Rs. 500 and Research Eligibility Test cum Interview fee is Rs. 750 which is to be paid in the form of DD drawn in favor of Registrar, Jain Vishva Bharati University, Ladnun, payable at Ladnun. The duly filled in application form, along with the DD of the requisite fee, should be submitted latest by October 27, 2011.
