NIOS Online Admission Sec (X) & Sr Sec (XII) October 2012 Exam

National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), formerly known as National Open School (NOS), Noida, Uttar Pradesh, has invited applications for admission into Secondary (Class X) and Senior Secondary (Class XII) Stream I Block II courses, for the examination scheduled to be held in October 2012. NIOS is an autonomous organization managed under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can register their candidature by logging onto the official website of NIOS: http://www.nios.ac.in/. While filling the online application form, one must pay the required amount of fees (details given on the website) through Credit Card (Master or Visa) / Debit Card (Visa only of selected banks) / Maestro Card. In addition, one can also pay the fees through Demand Draft of the requisite amount drawn in favor of Secretary NIOS, payable at the concerned regional centre (detailed addresses given on the website), and mention the Name and Reference No. on the back.
 
Two printouts of the duly filled in online application form, along with the DD (if applicable) and necessary documents (for the list, visit the website), should be submitted by hand or sent through post / courier to Online Admission Cell of the respective Regional Center. Candidates can also apply through offline mode by visiting the nearest NIOS Accredited Institutions (AIs) / Regional Centres / Sub-Centers for on line-registration.
