National Institute of Technology (NIT) Tiruchirappalli, popularly known as NIT Trichy, Tamil Nadu, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into MS (Master of Science) (By Research) and PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) programmes in the below mentioned faculties, to be offered in the ensuing January 2012 session. Selection of the candidates for MS (By Research) and PhD programmes will be done on the basis of their merit in the written exam and GATE score respectively, conducted by the Institute.

Interested candidates can download the application form and information brochure form the Institute’s website: The duly filled in application form, along with all necessary enclosures (details available on the website) and a non refundable registration fee of Rs 300 (Rs 100 for Persons with Disabilities) in the form of DD, drawn not earlier than December 14, 2011 in favor of “Director, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli - 620015” payable at Tiruchirappalli, should be submitted at The Dean (Academic), National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli - 620015, on or before the last date of submission. Applicants should write their name and GATE registration number on the reverse side of the DD.
