Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) in Longwal, Punjab has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into the following disciplines of M Sc (Master of Science) and PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy), offered in the ssued the notification for the SLIET Entrance Test 2011, also known as SET 2011. It is a national level entrance test conducted for admission into the following certificate, degree, diploma and post graduate courses, offered by the institute in the ensuing session 2011.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can download the application form from the Institute’s official website: http://www.sliet.ac.in/. The application fee is Rs 600 (Rs 300 for SC/ST Candidates) which is to be deposited by any of the following means:
- By Cash at Accounts Section Cash Counter at SLIET, Longowal or
- By DD in favour of “DIRECTOR SLIET” payable at Longowal / Sangrur (Note: DD should be preferably of Central Bank of India OR State Bank of India OR Oriental Bank of Commerce OR Punjab National Bank OR State Bank of Patiala OR ICICI Bank).
The duly filled application form should reach the office of the chairman, SLIET Entrance Test (SET) - 2011 latest by May 30, 2011. The application can either be submitted in person at institute counter along with the requisite fee (in the form of cash receipt or DD or mentioned above) or can be sent through registered post/speed post only to “ The chairman, SLIET Entrance Test (SET)-2011, Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology (SLIET), Longowal – 148 106, District Sangrur (Punjab).
