Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady, Kerala, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into the following faculties of Integrated M Phil (Master of Philosophy) – PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) and Direct PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) programme, to be offered in the upcoming session 2012 (from December 2011 onwards). Candidates shall carry out their work in the Department of the University situated at the University Head Quarters, Kalady, except for Urdu at Regional Centre, Koyilandy, under a recognized guide for Integrated M Phil-PhD programme in one of the following subjects:

Admission to the Integrated M Phil-PhD programme shall be on the basis of an entrance examination and interview conducted by the University. The written examination and interview will be held on November 17, 2011.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the application form from the office of the Campus Director, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Head Quarters, Kalady. The same can also be downloaded from the University’s official website: http://www.ssus.ac.in/. In case of downloaded application form, one must pay an application fee of Rs 50 by DD, along with the filled in application form. The registration fee is Rs 100 which should be paid along with the application in the form of DD drawn in favor of the Finance Officer, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady, payable at Union Bank of India, Kalady. (Candidates should write their name, address with phone number, and purpose on the reverse side of the DD). The duly filled in application form, along with the DD and other necessary enclosure documents (list given in the website), should be sent to the Registrar, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady, latest by October 31, 2011.
