UPSC Announces NDA & NA Examination (II) 2011 Dates

New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Delhi, has announced the date of written examination for National Defence Academy (NDA) & Naval Academy (NA) Examination (II) 2011. The written examination is schedule to be held on August 21, 2011. UPSC has invited applications from eligible Indian citizens. The online registration has started from April 9, 2011. Candidates can register online by visiting the UPSC official website: http://www.upsc.gov.in/. Last date for the online registration closes on May 9, 2011.
 
For the admission into National Defence Academy (NDA), candidate must be 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. Similarly, for the admission into Naval Academy (NA), candidate must be 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University. Candidates, those who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.
 
Selection of the candidate will be made on the basis of a Written Test followed by Personal Interview (PI). The Written Test will be held on August 21, 2011 for the admission in National Defence Academy (NDA) & Naval Academy (NA). The written test will held at various centres of cities Agartala, Gangtok, Panaji (Goa), Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Patna, Aizwal, Omphal, Port Blair, Allahabad, Itanagar, Raipur, Bangalore, Jaipur, Ranchi, Bareilly, Jammu, Sambalpur, Bhopal, Jorhat, Shillong, Chandigarh, Kochi, Shimla, Chennai, Kohima, Srinagar, Cuttack, Kolkata, Dehradun, Lucknow, Thiruvananthapuram, Delhi, Madurai, Tirupati, Dharwad, Mumbai, Udaipur, Dispur, Nagpur, Vishakhapatnam.
 
Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the UPSC official website: http://www.upsc.gov.in/. Candidates can also apply offline by filling the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations. Forms are available at designated Head Post Offices/ Post Offices, throughout the country. Candidate can obtain the form against the cash payment of Rs 30. Applicants are requested to follow all the terms and condition mentioned in the official website. If any candidate did not fill the form according the rules and find ineligible for the post will be declared as unqualified.
 
The dates for payment of application fee are April 9, 2011 to May 9, 2011. Candidates applying offline must ensure that their form will reach to the Controller of Examinations, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi - 110069 either by hand or by Post/Speed Post or by Courier, on or before the 9th May 2011.
