Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur, Maharashtra, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into the following research areas of PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) (Part Time) Applied Mechanics and Computer Science Engineering, to be offered in the upcoming academic session 2012-13. Admission will be made on the basis of the candidates' performance in the entrance test followed by the interview to be conducted by the Institute.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can download the prescribed application form from the Institute’s official website: http://vnit.ac.in/. The application fee for registration is Rs 500 which should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favor of Director, VNIT Nagpur. The duly filled in application form, along with the DD and xerox copies of the certificates and duly attested photograph, should be submitted in the academic section latest by November 14, 2011.
