University of Allahabad, popularly known as Allahabad University, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, has invited applications from eligible candidates for Institute of Professional Studies Admission Test 2012. The test is being conducted by the University at all India level for admission into various undergraduate (UG) and post graduate (PG) programmes in the below mentioned distinguished centers. Admission will be made on the basis of entrance test merit, followed by personal interview and counseling, to be conducted by the University.

Note: Candidates can apply for more than one programme; however, they have to submit a registration form for each one in a separate envelope. In addition, one has to super scribe the envelope with the name of the programme.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may register themselves for IPS Entrance Test by following any of the below mentioned modes of application:
Online Registration: Admission seekers may register themselves on the admission portal of the University: http://www.auadmission.co.in/. After filling up all the details, one can submit the registration form on the website itself. Candidates are advised to read out all the instructions given in the prospectus before filling up the registration form. Applicants have to pay an application fee of Rs 600 (Rs 300 for SC / ST / Differentially Able candidates) for UG and PG courses and Rs 300 for Diploma courses. For payment details, one can log onto the University’s website.
Offline Registration: Interested candidates may obtain the registration form (OMR) directly from the Pravesh Bhawan, Chaitham Lines, University of Allahabad, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh - 211 002 on all working days between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm on cash payment of application fee (details as per above). The duly filled-in OMR registration form complete in all respect should be sent by registered / speed post or submitted personally / through representative to: Pravesh Bhawan (Chatham Line), University of Allahabad on or before the below mentioned last date of submission of application form. In addition, candidates can submit the application form between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm.
