Allahabad University Announces LAT 2012

University of Allahabad, popularly known as Allahabad University, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, has invited applications from eligible candidates for Law Admission Test 2012, also known as LAT. LAT is an entrance test being conducted by the University for admission into three-year Bachelor of Laws (LLB) programme, to be offered at the Law Faculty and below mentioned constituent colleges of the University. Selection will be made on the basis of entrance test merit, followed by counseling, to be conducted under the management of University of Allahabad.
 
Note: Foreign nationals or Non-Resident Indians who have graduated from a foreign university are exempted from the entrance test. In addition, the University will conduct a special process of application and admission for such candidates.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may download the computerized registration form and prospectus from the official website of the University: http://www.allduniv.ac.in/ or from the direct admission link: http://www.auadmission.co.in/. In addition, one can also fill up the application form online by registering themselves on the abovementioned website. Applicants have to pay an application fee of Rs 600 (Rs 300 for SC / ST / PH candidates) either through Bank Draft or Bank Challan (downloadable from the University’s website). 
  • Through Bank Draft: Candidates should obtain a Demand Draft of the prescribed amount drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of Finance Officer, University of Allahabad, payable at Allahabad.
  • Through Bank Challan: After filling up the online application form, one will get an Application ID and Bank Challan (triplets) which should be used for the payment of application fee. Candidates can pay the application fee from any branch of HDFC Bank on producing the triplets (Student Copy, University Copy, and Bank Copy) of Bank Challan and Application ID. After making the payment, one will get Student Copy, which should be submitted along with the print-out of the duly filled-in application form to: Director Admission, Pravesh Bhawan, Chatham Lines, University of Allahabad, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh.
The duly filled-in downloaded application form (OMR) complete in all respect (as per the prospectus) along with the demand draft should be sent to: Director Admission, Pravesh Bhawan, Chatham Lines, University of Allahabad, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh on or before the below mentioned last date of submission of application form. In addition, those who have submitted the application form online must send the Bank Challan on the aforementioned address.
