Calicut University Announces CUMAT 2012

University of Calicut, also known as Calicut University, Kerala, has invited applications from eligible candidates for Calicut University Management Aptitude Test 2012, popularly known as CUMAT. CUMAT is an entrance test conducted by the University for admission into Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme. The programme is being offered at the Department of Commerce and Management Studies and the below mentioned five self-financing centres of the University, in the upcoming session 2012.Candidates will be short-listed on the basis of CUMAT merit and called for GD (Group Discussion) and PI (Personal Interview). Final selection will be made on the basis of candidates’ performance in GD / PI.
 
Note:
  • Candidates having a valid CMAT (conducted by AICTE) score are also eligible to apply. They are exempted from the entrance test but will have to appear in GD / PI session.
  • Applications are also invited for MBA Part Time programme at Thrissur, Palakkad, and Kozhikode.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may apply online only by registering themselves on the official website of the University: http://www.universityofcalicut.info/. After completing the registration, one will get a log-in ID which should be used for filling up the application form. In addition, candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500 (Rs.167 for SC / ST candidates) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favor of Finance Officer, University of Calicut, payable at SBT, Calicut University Branch.
 
The duly filled-in printout of the application form, complete in all respect, along with the Demand Draft (as per above) and a self addressed envelope affixed with Rs 5 stamp should be sent to the Head, Department of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Calicut on or before April 21, 2012. Candidates should write their “Online ID and full name” on the reverse side of the DD. For further details regarding admission, eligibility criteria and application procedure, one can visit the aforementioned official website of the University.
