Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, has invited applications from eligible candidates to register for Education Common Entrance Test 2012, also known as EdCET. The test is being conducted in order to select eligible candidates for admission into B Ed regular course in colleges of education in Andhra Pradesh for the ensuing academic session 2012-13.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the prescribed Application Form with instructions booklet in person on payment of Rs 150 in cash from the designated i) Head post offices and (ii) designated Axis Bank Branches in Andhra Pradesh (detailed lists are mentioned on the website(s): http://www.andhrauniversity.info/ or http://edcet2012.info or http://www.apsche.org/).
In addition, one can also apply online by filling in the online application made available on the aforementioned website. However, after successfully submitting the online application, one must take a printout of the same. And, this downloaded application form should be sent along with two passport-size photographs and DD of Rs 150 (drawn from any Nationalized Bank in favor of “The Secretary, APSCHE, payable at Hyderabad).
The duly filled-in and completed application form (downloaded or purchased) along with all relevant requisite documents should be sent to The Convener, Ed.CET-2012, Examination Block (Ground Floor), A.U College of Engineering (A), Andhra University, Visakhapatnam - 530 003, A.P., either in person or through Speed / Registered Post latest by April 23, 2012 (till 5.00 pm).
