Kerala University M Phil Bioinformatics / Computer Aided Drug Design Programme Admission 2012

University of Kerala, also known as Kerala University, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into one year (two semester) Master of Philosophy (M Phil) Bioinformatics / Computer Aided Drug Design programme, to be offered at University’s Centre of Bioinformatics in the ensuing session 2012. Admission will be offered on the basis of entrance test merit, to be conducted by the University on the below mentioned date.

Note: The entrance test will comprise of 100 objective type questions from Computer field (20), General Biology (20), Logic & Numeric Reasoning (60).
 
How to Apply
Interested candidates may download the application form from the official website of the University: http://www.keralauniversity.ac.in/. In addition, they have to pay an application fee of Rs 250 (Rs 500 for sponsored candidates and Rs 125 for SC / ST candidates) by following any of the below mentioned procedures:
  • Through Challan: One can remit the fee directly at the University cash counter at Palayam or Kariavattom.
  • Through Demand Draft (DD): Candidates have to obtain a DD drawn on State Bank of Travancore / State Bank of India or from State Co-operative Banks, in favor of Finance Officer, University of Kerala payable at State Bank of Travancore - KUOC Branch, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram. in favor of Finance Officer, University of Kerala, payable at State Bank of Travancore - KUOC Branch, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram
  • Through Friends Centers: Candidates can also pay the application fee at the Friends centers.
The duly filled-in downloaded application form along with DD / Challan Receipt and two self addressed envelopes affixed with Rs 5 stamp (each) should be sent to: Deputy Registrar (CSS) University of Kerala, Kariavattom Campus, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala - 695 581, on or before August 10, 2012. For further information regarding admission, eligibility criteria and application procedure, one can visit the abovementioned website of the University.
 
Note: Separate fee should be remitted for Bioinformatics and Computer Aided Drug Design programme.
