NIUM Bangalore PG Courses in Unani Medicine 2012 Admission

National Institute of Unani Medicine (NIUM), Bangalore, Karnataka, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into the three year PG (Post Graduate) courses in Unani Medicine i.e. Mahire Tib MD (Unani) / Mahire Jarahat MS (Unani) in the following subjects, to be offered in the upcoming academic session 2012-13. NIUM is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. Admission will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the entrance test to be conducted by the Institute.

How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to apply / register online by filling in the online application form made available on the Institute's official website: http://www.nium.in/ or http://nium.ygentechnology.com/. The direct link for online application form is: http://nium.ygentechnology.com/OnlineApplicationForm.aspx. The entrance test fee details are as follows:
  • General – Rs 1525 (i.e. Rs 1500 towards fee and Rs 25 towards bank charges) 
  • OBC – Rs 1525 (i.e. Rs 1500 towards fee and Rs 25 towards bank charges) 
  • GOI Nominee / In-Service – Rs 1525 (i.e. Rs 1500/- towards fee and Rs 25 towards bank charges)
  • SC / ST Category – Rs 725 (i.e. Rs 700 towards fee and Rs 25 towards bank charges)
  • PWD Category – Rs 725 (i.e. Rs 700 towards fee and Rs 25 towards bank charges)
The mentioned and applicable entrance test fees payment is to be made through Challan System in State Bank of India Branch only. The Challan can be downloaded from the aforementioned website. The receipt of the Challan in original for payment of requisite fees duly signed and sealed by the SBI Branch has to be attached along with the application form compulsorily. After successfully submitting the online application form, one must take printout of the same.
 
The duly acknowledged print out of the online application form along with attested copies of enclosures (detailed list given in the website) and bank Challan in original, should be sent to the Convener, PGET Entrance Test Cell, National Institute of Unani Medicine, Kottigepalya, Magadi Main Road, Bangalore-560 091, latest by September 17, 2012. The applications should be sent in the envelope super-scribed with “Application for PGET (Unani)”.
