University of Hyderabad to Organize 14th Convocation

Hyderabad: The 14th convocation ceremony of University of Hyderabad, also known as Hyderabad University, Andhra Pradesh, is scheduled to be held on October 1, 2012. The convocation is being conducted for candidates who have passed various degrees / diplomas during the period from September 1, 2011 to August 31, 2012, to award degrees / medals either in person (in the convocation) or in absentia (after the convocation) and Diplomas (only in absentia).
 
All those candidates who want to take part in the same are required to register their candidature by sending application form. The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the University’s official website: http://www.uohyd.ac.in/. The direct link for application is: http://www.uohyd.ac.in/images/academics/convo-xiv/convo_form.pdf.  The registration / application fee is Rs 500 (for in person) / Rs 700 (for in absentia) / US $ 50 (if applying from abroad), which is to be paid in the form of DD. The DD should be drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, University of Hyderabad, payable at State Bank of India, HUC Branch (Code: 5916) or at Andhra Bank, Nampally Branch (Hyderabad) (Code: 378).  
 
The duly filled in and completed application form along with DD, two recent stamp size colour photographs, copy of the provisional degree certificate issued by the University and copy of the Matriculation / SSC / CBSC / HSC certificate, should be sent to the Deputy Registrar (Academic & Examinations) at University of Hyderabad, Prof C R Rao Road, PO Central University, Gachibowli, Hyderabad - 500 046, latest by September 10, 2012.
 
 
Note: The Degree certificates to the candidates who opted to receive their Degrees in absentia and Diplomas will be sent after the convocation. Invitation can be downloaded from the abovementioned websites from September 26, 2012 onwards.
