University of Hyderabad (UOH), also known as Hyderabad University, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into the following postgraduate courses and research programmes, to be offered in the ensuing session 2012. Admission will be made on the basis of candidates' performance in the All-India entrance examination, to be conducted by the University.

MA and M Sc (5-year Integrated) Courses: in Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences
PG Courses: in Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, Performing Arts, Fine Arts, Art History, Communication, Business Administration in Health Care and Hospital Management, Health Psychology, Master of Computer Applications
Advance PG Diploma and PG Diploma: in Folk Culture Studies, Mineral Exploration, Healt Fitness and Life Style Management and Health Communication
M Tech Programmes: in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology (CS / AI / IT), Computational Techniques, Integrated Circuit Technology, Bioinformatics and Mineral Exploration.
M Phil Programmes: in Humanities and Social Sciences
PhD Programmes: in Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences
Integrated M Tech / PhD Materials Engineering, Nano Science and Technology and Integrated M Sc / PhD Biotechnology
 
Date of Exam
The entrance tests are scheduled to be held from June 1, 2012 to June 7, 2012.

Note:
The University reserves the right to cancel any of the examination centres and allot another centre closer to the centre cancelled.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can download the prospectus-cum-application form from the University's official website: http://www.uohyd.ac.in/ or other websites as stated at the para General Information. Xerox copies of application forms can also be obtained in person from the Academic Section, Office of the Controller of Examinations, University Campus, Hyderabad, free of cost to a limited extent. The entrance examination fee (seperate application is required for each course / programme) is Rs 300 (for General and OBC candidates) and Rs 125 (for SC / ST / PWD candidates).
 
The entrance examination fee can be paid in the form of DD drawn in favor of the Finance Officer, University of Hyderabad, on State Bank of India, Hyderabad Central University Campus Branch, Hyderabad (Code 5916) or on Andhra Bank, Nampally Branch, Hyderabad (Code 378). The duly filled in and completed application forms along with the DD and other requisite documents should be submitted in person at the Academic section or can be sent through post to the Dy. Registrar (Academic & Exams) latest by May 4, 2012.
