University of Hyderabad (UOH), also known as Hyderabad University, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into the following postgraduate courses and research programmes, to be offered in the ensuing session 2013. Admission will be made on the basis of candidates' performance in the All-India entrance examination, to be conducted by the University.

  • MA and M Sc (5-year Integrated) Courses: in Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences
  • PG Courses: in Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, Performing Arts, Fine Arts, Art History, Communication, Business Administration in Health Care and Hospital Management, Health Psychology, Master of Computer Applications, Master of Public Health
  • Advance PG Diploma and PG Diploma: in Folk Culture Studies, Mineral Exploration, Health Communication
  • M Tech Programmes: in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology (CS / AI / IT), Computational Techniques, Integrated Circuit Technology, Bioinformatics, Mineral Exploration, Materials Engineering and Nano Science and Technology
  • M Phil Programmes: in Humanities and Social Sciences
  • PhD Programmes: in Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, Dance, Communication, Theatre Arts and Management Studies
  • Integrated M Sc / PhD: in Biotechnology
Date of Exam
The entrance tests are scheduled to be held from February 21, 2013 to February 26, 2013.

Note: The University reserves the right to cancel any of the examination centres and allot another centre closer to the centre cancelled.

How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to apply online by filling in the online application form made available on the University's official website: http://www.uohyd.ac.in/. The prospectus and instructions for filling the online application form can be downloaded from the University's official website. The entrance examination fee is Rs 350 (Rs 150 for SC / ST / PH candidates) for each course, which is to be paid in the form of bank challan / DD drawn in favour of Finance Officer, University of Hyderabad, payable at SBI, HUC Branch (5916) / Andhra Bank, Nampally Branch (378). After successfully submitting the online application form, one must take a print-out of the same. The duly acknowledged hard copy of the application form along with DD should be sent to the Dy. Registrar (Acad. & Exams), University of Hyderabad, latest by January 21, 2013.
