Yogi Vemana University (YVU) was upgraded by the Government of Andhra Pradesh via an Act of AP Legislative Assembly on March 9, 2006. The University is located at Ganganapalli village and Panchayat, which is about 15 km from Kadapa city on Kadapa-Pulivendla Road. Its campus is spread over 450 acres of lush green land.
