Calcutta University PhD Programme in Hindi Announced

Department of Hindi, University of Calcutta, also known as Calcutta University, Kolkata, West Bengal, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme in Hindi, to be offered in the upcoming session 2013. Admission will be made on the basis of candidates' performance in the written examination, followed by personal interview, to be conducted by the University department.
 
Note: Candidates who have already passed JRF / NET / SET or equivalent or passed M Phil need not appear for the admission test but they are required to appear for the interview, to be conducted by the University.

The written examination is scheduled to be held on March 30, 2013 (from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm)

How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to download the prescribed application format from the University’s official website: http://www.caluniv.ac.in/. The application fee is Rs 100 which can be paid through a challan (obtainable from the University). The duly filled in application form, along with all requisite documents (details given on the website), should be submitted to the Head, Department of Hindi, University of Calcutta, 87/1, College Street, Kolkata - 700073, latest by March 13, 2013.
