CBSE JEE Main 2013 Results Announced

The results of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2013 have been announced by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, today i.e. on May 7, 2013. The JEE Apex board secretariat announced the results of JEE Main 2013 test paper 1 scores. Students can check the results available in the official website: http://jeemain.nic.in/jeemain2013/Welcome.aspx

All those candidates who have appeared the CBSE JEE Main 2013 Examination can check the results in the abovementioned website. To check the JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION (MAIN)-2013 Score of Paper I one must enter their Roll Number followed by their Date of Birth in the format DD/MM/YY in the box provided and click into the SUBMIT button. As per sources, this year, as many as 1.4 million candidates have appeared the examination. In 2013, JEE Mains replaced AIEEE and JEE Advanced has replaced IIT JEE which is to be conducted by the IITs. Sources also added that only top 150,000 students from JEE Main in all categories are eligible to take up JEE (Advanced), which is scheduled to be held on June 2, 2013.

The eligible candidates will be able to get admissions to the 9647 undergraduate seats available in 15 IITs, IT-BHU and ISM Dhanbad, which includes 15678 seats in the 30 NITs across the country including the seats in the new ones.
