Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysore, has invited applications for admission into MSc (Food Technology) degree course, for the academic year 2013.
The eligibility prescribed for admission is a Bachelor’s degree in science with chemistry/biochemistry as one of the subjects or agriculture/engineering /technology/mathematics as one of the subjects in +2 or pre-university or at degree level is compulsory for admission.
Those who have appeared for the final-year examination and expect to get stipulated marks or class can also apply. Candidates must have 55% in optional subjects of BSc pass course (50% for SC/ST category), 50% for BSc (Hons) course (45% for SC/ST category) and minimum second class for agriculture/engineering/ technology.

Interested candidates can obtain the application form available online from the institute’s official website: www.cftri.com. Thereafter, candidates are required to take a printout of duly signed completed application in all respects with accompanied with necessary supporting documents must be sent to the director, CFTRI, Mysore-570020, along with a DD for Rs 500 drawn in favour of director, CFTRI, MYSORE on or before the last date mentioned.
