DDibrugarh University Invites for Training Program on Introduction to Bioinformatics

The Centre for Bioinformatics Studies, Dibrugarh University has invited applications for the Graduate Training Program on Introduction to Bioinformatics. The three-day training programme is scheduled to be held from June 6 to 8, 2013. The last date of application will be closed on May 30, 2013.
 
The three- day regional level training program is offered to the graduates and those who are appearing in their final semester examination for graduation. The programme will focus on introduction to Bioinformatics so, that the participants will be enlightened about Bioinformatics, the latest field of Sciences. In addition, experts in various fields will deliver lectures and conduct demonstration followed by hands-on-training. The training programme will be very useful to the graduate students interested in understanding bio-molecules applying computational tools.

The eligibility prescribed is that applicants must be a graduate and those appearing in the final semester examination from Science Stream for graduation. The total intake capacity of the programme will be 20 (Participants will be selected on first come first serve basis). Interested candidates are requested to apply online in the University’s website: http://dibru.ac.in/. Thereafter, mailing the registration form attached to cbis,du@gmail.com. Participants should send the Demand Draft of Rs 500 (Rupees Five Hundred) only to the Director i/c, Centre for Bioinformatics Studies, Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh 786004. The Demand Draft should be in favor of ‘Registrar’, Dibrugarh University, payable at SBI, Dibrugarh University Branch (Branch Code 2051) on or before May 30, 2013.
