Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), Mumbai, Maharashtra, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into the following post graduate programmes, to be offered in the upcoming session 2013. IGIDR (Deemed University) is an Advanced Research Institute established by Reserve Bank of India. Admission will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the written test, followed by interview, to be conducted by the Institute.

- M Phil (Development Studies) - two years programme
- PhD (Development Studies) - four years programme

The admission test is scheduled to be held on April 28, 2013.
Note: The written test will be separate for M Sc and M Phil / PhD candidates.

Interested candidates may obtain the application form and prospectus in person from the Institute on all working days (Monday to Friday from 9.15 am to 5.45 pm) on cash payment of Rs 500 or by sending a request on plain paper along with a DD of Rs 500 (non-refundable), drawn in favor of Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), payable at Mumbai. The request must be sent to Students Office, IGIDR, Gen A.K., Vidya Marg, Santosh Nagar, Goregaon East, Mumbai - 400 065, latest by March 18, 2013. Applicants can also apply online by using the online application form made available on the Institute’s official website: http://www.igidr.ac.in/.
