JEE Main Results 2013 Coming Up on May 7

Soon, the wait of millions of students who has appeared the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2013 will come to an end. The results of JEE Main Examination 2013 will be declared tomorrow i.e. on May 7, 2013. As per sources, this year, as many as 1.4 million candidates have appeared the examination.

The JEE Main 2013 was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)  across 81 in India which also includes four abroad cities- Bahrain, Dubai, Riyadh and Muscat. After, the declaration the results one will be able get the results by logging into either of the official website listed below

The JEE is an entrance for those students who are aspiring to seek admissions to Bachelors in Engineering, B.Tech and Architecture courses at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), Delhi Technological University, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs).

Sources have informed that, in 2013, a total of 9647 undergraduate seats are available for admissions in 15 IITs, IT-BHU and ISM Dhanbad. Besides, the number of undergraduate seats available in the 30 NITs across the country is 15678 including the seats in the new ones.


This year, AIEEE is substituted by JEE Mains and IIT JEE by JEE Advanced which is to be conducted by the IITs. Moreover, sources informed that only top 150,000 students will take up JEE (Advanced) scheduled to be held on June 2, 2013.
