KEA PGCET 2013 Notification

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), Bangalore, has invited applications from eligible Karnataka and non-Karnataka candidates to register for Post Graduate Common Entrance Test 2013, also known as PGCET 2013. PGCET is being conducted by KEA in order to select eligible candidates for admission into 1st year / 1st Semester MCA / ME / M Tech / M Arch course, to be offered in the institutions affiliated to Universities which will be notified by the Government of Karnataka for the year 2013-14. Admission to the courses will be made on the basis of candidates' performance in the entrance test. However, non-Karnataka students are eligible to select only seats surrendered by the management (if any).
 
Note: Candidates with valid GATE score need not appear for PGCET-2013 for admission to ME / M Tech / M Arch, but they need to fill and submit the PGCET-2013 application form for admission. For more details about the score needed and admission criteria, candidates are advised to visit the KEA's official website: http://kea.kar.nic.in/

  • July 27, 2013 - ME / M Tech / M Arch
  • July 28, 2013 - MCA

How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to apply online by visiting the KEA's official website: http://kea.kar.nic.in/. The application fee (course-wise) is Rs 600 (for General / OBC candidates) / Rs 300 (SC / ST / Cat-1 candidates). Applicable application fee should be paid through NEFT, from any nationalized bank, in the Account No. 878333780, with NEFT / IFSC Code IDIB000M010, in the Branch Name: Indian Bank, Malleshwaram Branch, Bangalore, latest by July 15, 2013. After making payment through NEFT, the bank will generate a UTR No., which candidates should keep it with them for the future reference. After paying the application fees, candidates are required to send an Email to Administrative Officer, KEA, on the mail id: keauthority-ka@nic.in, for confirmation of their payment. The last date of submitting the online application is July 17, 2013. For more detailed information regarding admission, eligibility criteria and application procedure, candidates are requested to visit the aforementioned official website.
