NIT Calicut, an institution of national importance, has invited online applications from eligible candidates for admission into Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme, to be offered at the belowmentioned departments or schools, in the ensuing session commencing from July 2013. Selection will be made on the basis of candidates’ performance in written test / interview, to be conducted by the admission committee of NIT Calicut.

How to Apply
Candidates seeking admission in PhD programme of the institute may apply online by filling and submitting the application form on the official website of the institute: http://www.nitc.ac.in/. The direct link for the same is: http://www.dss.nitc.ac.in/MtechApp/phd/appform.aspx. An application fee of Rs 600 (Rs 300 for SC / ST candidates) is to be paid by the candidates in the form of Demand Draft (DD) drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of “Director NIT Calicut”, payable at State Bank of India, NIT Calicut Branch (Code No. 2207). Once the application form is completed, candidates have to submit it online and take a print out of the same for further correspondence with the institute.
The hard copy of the online submitted application form, complete in all respects as per the guidelines mentioned in the information brochure, along with the DD of requisite amount (as mentioned above) and self attested copies of all essential documents, should be sent in an A4 size envelope by registered or speed post to the Chairperson - PG Admissions, National Institute of Technology Calicut, NIT Campus, Calicut (Kerala) - 673 601, on or before May 15, 2013.
