Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board Announces First Cut-off List

New Delhi: Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB) has announced its first cut-off list, which is being displayed on its notice board from today i.e. June 21. The admissions to BA and B Com courses will be offered by various DU centers of the board, on the basis on these cut-offs.
 
As per the list, for BA programme for general category, Hansraj College has the highest cut-off of 81%, while Kalindi College, Siddharth International School, Maharaja Agrasen and PGDAV colleges have the lowest cut-off of 69%. For B Com programme, Hansraj College has the highest cut-off of 82% and Maitreyi College and Siddharth International School have the lowest cut-off of 68%. This year, Hansraj College shows a rise of 4% from last year's 78%, but Lakshmibai College shows a fall of 5% from last year’s 75%.
 
NCWEB provides these DU Courses for women through 13 Delhi University centers. As per sources, these courses are distinct from School of Open Learning courses, since the students are required to attend classes, which are conducted on Saturdays, Sundays and during vacations. The best part of these courses is that it has to be completed in 50 teaching days, and the students take the regular DU exams along with other students.
 
As per sources, NCWEB will announce its second cut-off list on July 5, 2013, and a third list, if required, on July 19, 2013. The schedule for admissions to these courses is available on the DU website. The admissions start from June 24, with Hansraj, and close with PGDAV on July 2.
