Osmania University RFSMS Fellowship Programme Admission 2013

Osmania University (OU), Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into the Research Fellowships in Science for Meritorious Students (RFSMS) fellowship programme, to be offered in the below mentioned departments of the University in the upcoming session 2013. The research fellowship will be awarded by the University under the BSR Scheme of University Grants Commission (UGC).
 
RFSMS Fellowship Departments:
  • Biochemistry
  • Genetics
  • Physics
Note:
  • Selected candidates will be offered a stipend of Rs 14000 / month.
  • The tenure of the fellowship is initially two years. Upon expiry of this period, the tenure of the fellowship will be extended for further three years, only on the basis of the Satisfactory Assessment Report of the Expert Committee Evaluation on the work of the Fellow.
  • Total period of fellowship is five years with no further provision of extension.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can obtain the prescribed application form from the concerned departments of the University. In addition, an application fee (non-refundable) of Rs 100 (Rs 50 for SC / ST / PH candidates) is to be paid by the candidates in the form of Demand Draft (DD) drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of The Head of Department (subjects applying for), Osmania University, payable at Hyderabad. The duly filled-in application form complete in all respect should be sent to the Head of Concerned Department, Osmania University, latest by the below mentioned last date of submission.
