How to Apply
Interested candidates can get the application form in personfrom the designated centers on cash payment / DD drawn in favor of The Director, Admissions, Anna University Chennai Payable at Chennai, drawn on any Nationalized Bank dated on or after May 5, 2009 of Rs 500 for General Class candidates and Rs 250 for SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu towards registration fee. Candidates can also apply by registering in the website:www.annauniv.edu/tnea2009. Applicants are requested to enter the required information in the application form and submit it online. Take a printout of the application form and affix a photograph in the space provided also sign in the appropriate space given. The printout application along with the registration fee in the form of a DD only drawn in favor of The Director, Admissions, Anna University Chennai Payable at Chennai, drawn on any Nationalized Bank dated on or after May 5, 2009 should be sent along with the enclosures by speed /registered post to the address given below. One can get the application form by post from The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA), Anna University Chennai, Chennai-600 025 by sending a request letter along with a DD of Rs 700 for General Class and Rs 450 for SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu drawn in favor of The Director, Admissions, Anna University Chennai Payable at Chennai, drawn on any Nationalized Bank dated on or after May 5, 2009 along with an address label written in capital letters to which the applications is to be mailed.Thereafter, all the duly filled application form must be send with attested xerox copies of Mark Sheet (s) and attested xerox copies of all other relevant certificates, to the Secretary , Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2009,Anna University Chennai, Chennai -600 025 on or before the last date mentioned. Applicants are instructed to write the name and address on the reverse side of the DD. SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu who want to avail registration fee concession (Rs 250) should produce a xerox copy of the community certificate obtained from competent authority.
