How to Apply
Interested candidates must register their names for BITSAT 2009 available in the website://www.bitsadmission.com. Fill the application form completely and take a print out of it. The print out of the application form along with a DD of Rs 1000 and Rs 500 for female candidates should be send addressed to Admissions Officer, BITS, Pilani – 333 031. Instructions will be provided regarding the payment of the fees at the website while applying online. Application forms can also be obtained through post by sending a request on a plain paper giving the candidates name, and gender with complete mailing address, along with a crossed DD of Rs 1100 and Rs 600 for female candidates(the amount mentioned includes the prescribed fees and Rs100 towards postal and handling charges)drawn in favor of ‘Birla Institute of Technology & Science’ payable at State Bank of India, Pilani (code: 1976) Or State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur, Pilani (Code: 10398) or UCO Bank, Vidya Vihar, Pilani (Code: 0150) Or ICICI Bank, Jhunjhunu (Code: 0799), must be addressed to Admissions Office, BITS, Pilani, either by Speed Post / Registered Post.
Procedure for Applying for Admission:
Moreover, the candidate applying for the BITSAT 2009 are also required to apply for admission to BITS giving details of their 10+2 level of examination marks and preferences to different degree program offered. The prescribed application form for admission, the detailed application procedure and the final list of Degree program offered will be available at the BITS website from May, 20, 2009. Applicants are requested to fill the form and a fee of Rs 200 must be submitted with it and should reach the Admissions Officer, BITS, Pilani - 333 031, Rajasthan, either by registered post/speed post or in person before the last date mentioned.
