Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) has released the date of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for the upcoming year 2010. IIT JEE is conducted at all-India level, in eight zones of IIT across India. The examination is conducted for admission to undergraduate courses at all the IITs located in India, as well as IT-BHU (Varanasi) and ISM, Dhanbad (Jharkhand).

How to Apply
Interested candidates can submit the application form either on-line or off-line. To apply offline, one can buy the application form along with information brochure from designated banks, by paying a sum of Rs 500 (for women candidates, ST/SC). They should submit the form in a white envelope. On the other hand, the general candidates can buy the application form from a designated bank, by paying Rs 1000 in cash. They should submit the form in a blue color envelope.
In case one wants to apply on-line, he/she should visit any website of IITs and fill the application form as per the given guidelines. Thereafter, the candidate shall take a print-out of the form and send it to IIT Madras postal address, along with fee and essential enclosures. For more details regarding the application procedure, one can visit the website of IITs. The online application process is open from November 01, 2009 to Monday December 07, 2009, while one can fill the application offline, from November 16, 2009 to Tuesday, December 15, 2009.
