How to Apply
Candidate for admission into the PhD Physics / Theoretical Computer Science can apply for online by first registering themselves. The online application from must be filled with the required details available in the website: http://jest09.veccal.ernet.in/. One can even obtain the application form by post by sending a request to The Chairman, JEST-2009, Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre, 1/AF, Bidhan Nagar, Kolkata - 700 064, along with postage stamps of Rs. 60/- affixed on a self-addressed slip of approximate size of 20 cm x 15 cm. Thereafter, the dully filled application must be send to the above mentioned address, either by speed post/courier. Candidates are requested not to send email applications and xerox copies of printed applications as they will be rejected. The applicant will not have to pay any examination fee.
