Jodhpur National University (JNU) in Jodhpur, Rajasthan has issued the notification for the PhD entrance exam 2010. It is an entrance test conducted for admission into the following faculties of PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme, offered in the upcoming session 2010.
List of number of seats available, subject wise, in each faculty:
- Faculty of Management: Finance - 8, Marketing - 8, Human Resource Management-8, International Business - 8 and Management- 8 (Total number of seats – 40)
- Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences - Pharmaceutical Sciences - 08 (Total number of seats -08)
- Faculty of Computer Application - Computer Applications: 15 (Total number of seats-15)
- Faculty of Engineering & Technology - Computer Science Engineering: 5, - Electrical Engineering: 5,- Electronics and Communication Engineering: 5,- Information Technology : 5,- Mechanical Engineering : 5 (Total number of seats-25)
Date of Exam
January 10, 2010 – 10.00 am to 1.00 pm (Admission is done on the basis of merit obtained by the candidate in the entrance test, followed by an interview. Applicant with a valid course score of high level in any of the relevant National Eligibility Tests like GATE/NET of UGC/CSIR & SLET of the State, may be given preference as decided by the Dean of the concerned faculty.)

How to Apply
Interested candidates can download the application form for PhD registration form from the website: http://www.jodhpurnationaluniversity.com/. Thereafter, the duly filled downloaded application must be submitted to Registrar along with a DD of Rs 1050 towards application form fee payable at Jodhpur, in favour of 'Jodhpur National University’ on or before the last date mentioned.
Note: Registration fee will be payable by the candidates qualifying the entrance test at the time of interview through a DD of Rs 5000 in favour of 'Jodhpur National University, Jodhpur' payable at Jodhpur.
