Date of Exam
Candidates are selected on the basis of rank/score at CAT/MAT/XAT followed by a Group Discussion (GD) and Interview at the institute.

Interested candidates can obtain the application form from the website http://www.nitdgp.ac.in/. Thereafter, they must send the duly filled form to along with DD of Rs 850 for the General Class and Rs 350 for the SC/ST candidates drawn in favor of National Institute of Technology Durgapur, payable at State Bank of India, R.E. College, Durgapur. One can get it by post also sending a request for the application form addressed to NIT Durgapur, accompanied by a DD of the prescribed fee drawn in favor of National Institute of Technology Durgapur, payable at State Bank of India, R.E. College, Durgapur, Application form can also be obtained in person available at the Institute Cash Counter, National Institute of Technology, Mahatma Gandhi Avenue, Durgapur-713209, on cash payment of Rs 800 for General Class candidates and Rs 300 for ST/SC candidates.
