National Institute of Technology (NIT), situated in Surathkal (Karnataka), has announced the exam notification for admission into the two year MBA (Master of Business Administration) program for the academic year 2009-10. The last date for submitting the application form is 30 April 2009.
Date of Examination
Candidates are selected on the basis of rank/score at CAT (Common Admission Test) followed by a group discussion and interview at the institute.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can obtain the application form from the website http://www.nitk.ac.in. Thereafter, they must send the duly filled form to “Deputy Registrar (Academic), National Institute of Technology Karnataka” along with a DD for Rs 600 (in case of SC/ST Rs 150) in favor of “Director, National institute of Technology Kamataka, Surathkal, Srinivasnagar”, payable at State Bank of India/Canara Bank at Surathkal. Application without the DD for the required amount is not considered.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university, with a minimum of 60% in aggregate in all the subjects taken together. In case of the SC/ST candidates the minimum marks required is 50% in aggregate.Students appearing the final of the qualifying examination can also apply but admission is subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
