All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has issued the notification for admission into Postgraduate (PG) and Post Doctoral courses, offered in the ensuing session commencing from January 2011. Admission is done on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the entrance test.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the AIIMS's official website: http://aiimsexams.org/. Candidates can pay the application fee through a challan form (that can be download from the aforementioned website while applying online) in any branch of State Bank of India (SBI). Transaction processing fee (as applicable) will be payable to the bank.
One can obtain the prospectus and application form by post by sending a crossed Bank Draft of Rs 1050 (Rs 650 for SC/ST category) drawn in favor of the Accounts Officer (Exams) AIIMS-PG-Jan.2011. The Bank Draft should be payable at New Delhi and valid for six months. The request should reach the Assistant Controller of Examination, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi-110608 on or before September 30, 2010. The address at which the form is required should be written clearly in capital letters with pin code. Request for application form for AIIMS-PG/Post Doctoral Courses, Jan 2011 Session must be written on top of the envelope.
Applicant can obtain the same in person from the reception counter of Examination section, AIIMS, against a Bank Draft of Rs 1000 (Rs 500 for SC/ST category), drawn in favor of Accounts Officer (Exams), AIIMS-PG-Jan.2011. For further details one can visit the AIIMS’s aforementioned website.
Note: Sponsored candidates of Central/State government/Armed Forces/PSU/Autonomous bodies as well as Foreign National candidates are required to fill the online application form indicating their choice of subject (only one). The Foreign National candidates are required to send their application form (Downloaded copy of registration slip of online application), through Diplomatic Channel. Such sponsored candidate and Foreign National candidates are required to appear in competitive entrance exam along with other candidates.
