Central Institute of Plastic Engineering & Technology (CIPET) in Chennai, Tamil Nadu has issued the notification for the diploma & UG / PG programme entrance exam 2010. It is an entrance test conducted for admission into the following disciplines of diploma & undergraduate (UG) / postgraduate (PG) programmes, offered in its various campuses located in Ahemedabad, Bhubneshwar, Chennai, Hajipur and Lucknow, for the upcoming session 2010.

- Post Diploma in Plastics Mould Design [PD-PMD] – One Year
- Diploma in Plastics Mould Technology (DPMT) — 3 Years
- Diploma in Plastics Technology [DPT] — 3 Years
- Post Graduate Diploma in Plastics Processing & Testing (PG - PPT) – 1 & ½ Yrs
UG & PG Programme
- B Tech in Plastics Engineering/Technology – B Tech PE/PT
- M Tech in Plastics Engineering / Technology – M Tech (PE/PT)
- M Tech in Polymer Nano Technology (M Tech – PNT)

Interested candidates can download the application form from the website: http://www.cipet.gov.in.Thereafter, the duly filled downloaded application form to be sent to the Manager (Training), CIPET Corporate, Guindy, Chennai - 600 032, along with a DD of Rs. 100 for General candidates & Rs 25 for SC/ST candidates, in favor of “CIPET CORPORATE” A/c No. 10565622390 payable at Chennai.
