Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in New Delhi has announced the date of Joint CSIR NET (National Eligibility Test) June 2010. It is an entrance test conducted for selecting candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and determining the eligibility for Lectureship, for Indian nationals in order to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in the teaching profession and research, for the upcoming session 2010.

Interested candidates can apply in the ONLINE application form or can download the application form from the website: http://www.csir.res.in/. Information brochure and application form are also available in the designated branches of Indian Bank and Oriental Bank of Commerce (list and detailed address of the designated bank branch available in the website: http://www.csir.res.in/). Thereafter, the duly filled application form along with all the essential enclosures must be submitted to the Sr, Controller of Examination, Examination Unit, HRDG, CISR Complex, Library Avenue, Pusa, New Delhi – 110012. For detailed information about the application and admission procedure applicants are requested to visit the aforementioned website.
Note: Candidate applying ONLINE is required to deposit the requisite Examination Fee through Bank challan in any of the Indian Bank Branches throughout the country. Multiple submission or fee submitted in any other mode will be rejected.
