DTU Extends the Last Date to Apply for MBA

Yielding to the demand from the students, the Delhi School of Management (DSM), the on campus B-school of Delhi Technological University (DTU), has extended the last date to file the application for its MBA course. Applicants can now submit their forms till March 22, 2010. DTU ventured into management education by setting up its B-school in 2009. 
 
The two-year management programme run by DSM offers the students specialization in knowledge and technology management/ supply chain management/ and information technology management. The applicants will compete for a maximum of 60 seats. The eligibility criteria for the course require a minimum of 60 % in either of the following:
  • B.E. / B.Tech. in any branch of Engineering/ Technology
  • Master's Degree in any branch of Physical/ Chemical/ Mathematical Science like Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, Computer Application, Electronic Science, Environmental Science, Operations Research, Computation/ Information Science
  • Master's Degree in Commerce/ Economics 
For the Scheduled Castes (SCs)/ Scheduled Tribes (STs) / Other Backward Classes (OBCs) candidates, a relaxation of 5% marks or equivalent CGPA will be allowed. The candidates will be short listed on the basis of marks obtained in Common Admission Test (CAT) and qualifying exam. The short-listed candidates will be able to make the final cut only after appearing for an interview and group discussion.
